Annapolis Police Arrest Man for False Report of Armed Robbery
Man admits to filing false report after arrest.

Annapolis police arrested a man for filing a false police report of an alleged armed robbery on May 6.
Police arrested Rodell Pinckney, 19, of Annapolis, for reporting that he was robbed of money and his cell phone on May 6 on West Street. Detectives investigated Pinckney's claims and determined them to be false. Pinckney was arrested and charged for filing a false report.
"Pinckney was arrested on 05/22 and made a statement admitting it was a false report," according to police.

Pinckney is being held at the Jennifer Road Detention Center on $5,000 bond, according to a police report.
