Police Investigate Shooting on Rosewood Street
Annapolis police say a man was shot in the leg early Sunday morning.

The Annapolis Police Department said a man was shot in the leg on Sunday morning.
Police said they responded shortly after 5 a.m. Sunday to the 200 block of Rosewood Street. A 43-year-old Annapolis resident told police that he was shot in the leg by another man.
The victim was transported to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore.

Police spokesman Detective Amy Miguez said the victim was intoxicated at the time. She said injuries were not severe, and that the bullet went completely through the leg.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
