ANNAPOLIS, MD — A man was shot and hospitalized recently in Annapolis, city police said. Officers expect him to survive.

Authorities said the shooting happened Sunday in the unit block of Bunche Street, which is in a residential neighborhood.

Police said the victim was outside when he was shot.

Officers said they were called to the scene around 11:21 a.m., but the victim was not there.

An unidentified hospital reported that a man arrived at the medical center with a gunshot wound to his leg around the same time, authorities said.

The Annapolis Police Department has not yet found any suspects. Officers are still investigating,

The Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland offered a cash reward of up to $2,000 for information that leads to an arrest or an indictment on felony charges. The Metro Crime Stoppers is a non-police organization that collects tips and shares them with detectives.
