Anne Arundel Police Officer Charged With Suspicion Of DUI

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — An officer with the Anne Arundel County Police Department was arrested Sunday on suspicion of driving under the influence, the agency said.

The officer, identified by the police department as Corporal S. Dolan, was stopped by a Maryland State Police trooper in Queen Anne's County. Dolan was off duty at the time of the arrest, a police news release said.

Dolan is a 10-year veteran of the police force and is assigned to the Bureau of Community Services.

The department said Dolan has been suspended without pay pending an investigation by the Office of Professional Standards.
