MARYLAND — One of the 10 people selected to train as NASA astronauts is a Maryland native, and two attended school in the state.
This week, a Bowie man bought a $1 million lottery ticket, and a Landover woman won $50,000 in the lottery as well.
Speaking of money, as of Dec. 1 Howard County has distributed $15 million in housing assistance. A program to encourage shopping local in Havre de Grace was a "rousing success," as well.
