Backroom Bourbon: DRY 85 Aiming for October Opening
DRY 85, a new speakeasy-style bar in Annapolis is aiming for an October opening downtown.

The owner of an upcoming speakeasy-style bar said he hopes to open its doors on Main Street sometime in October.
If you've traveled down Main Street over the summer, you've probably noticed the enigmatic sign for DRY 85, promising a prohibition-style speakeasy with a penchant for bourbon. The bar is an offshoot of Red Red Wine Bar downtown, owned by Brian and Lisa Bolter.
Brian Bolter has been providing regular Facebook updates on the progress of construction at the site throughout the summer. On Monday, he showed off new concrete, new A/C, and ductwork inside the building. In response to a fan's comments, Bolter said they are still aiming for an October opening for the bar.
