Bullets Fired at Homes, Shops on Saint Margaret's Road
Police said windows were shot out shortly before midnight Friday.

Anne Arundel County police said they are investigating reports of bullets being fired at homes and businesses in the Annapolis area late Friday night.
Police first responded at about 11:30 p.m. to a report of gunshots near the 1800 block of Saint Margaret's Road. They spoke to a witness and discovered two bullet holes in the front window of the Cakes and Confections Gourmet Store.
Moments later, officers also responded to a report of two windows being shot out at a home two blocks away. One of the bullets stopped in a wall inside a bedroom of the house.

Further investigation revealed that a neighbor's house was also shot at, with bullets passing through a garage window and embedding in a wall.
Victims in the case were unable to provide a description of any suspects, but one witness said they believed the shooting came from a passing vehicle.
