Costumed Runners Don High-Heels for Charity Race at Towne Centre

More than 50 runners participated in the race wearing costumes and high-heeled shoes.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month kicked off with a bang at the Annapolis Towne Centre with a high-heeled race down the streets.

Sunday brought the third-annual Healing in Heels Dash for Breast Cancer—a 550-yard charity run sponsored by Charm City Run and awareness group Save the Coconuts, according to The Capital.

More than 50 runners participated in the race wearing costumes and high-heeled shoes.
