Eastport Luau Features Tropical Fare, Live Music
A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Eastport Fire Company.

On June 30, the is hosting the 2012 Eastport Luau.
A smorgasboard of tropical dishes including slow roasted whole pig, jerk chicken, Caribbean coleslaw and tiki drink specials are available for purchase, according to a news release. The luau will also feature live music from local bands Skribe and the Shawn Owen Band.

Kids can also join in on the fun with activities such as face painting and hula demonstrations, the release states. In addition, prizes will be awarded to the tackiest tourist pet and owner and the best limbo dancer.

The festivities will take place at the club, located at 525 State Street, from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m., the release states. The public is invited to attend.
