Enjoy a day at the park to celebrate Earth Day. Activities include: arts and crafts for kids,music, nature walks, environmental vendors, bike sale by Revolution Kids, Reading and Butterfly Garden and Watershed Education Experience.
Sierra Club 5K Run registration at 7am. A community planting at the new Reading and Butterfly Garden/Watershed Education Experience (WEE) will begin at 9am to replenish the native perennials and grasses planted last April 2012.
The Reading and Butterfly Garden/WEE is located off the North East Corner of the Water Fountains /Ice Skating Rink. Bring a trowel and gardening gloves.Park Admission Free. Food and beverages available for purchase.
