False Information Being Spread by Robo-Calls, Says Elections Head
The polls open at 7 a.m. Tuesday and will close at 8 p.m., but some bad information is being spread by automatic-dialed calls, the head of elections says.

The head of city elections is notifying Annapolis candidates and voters that false information about the poll opening times is being spread by robo-calls—a computerized autodialer.
The city's Election Administrator Regina Watkins-Eldridge sent an email to candidates Friday morning alerting them about the correct poll opening times.
"We have received several phone calls related to robo-calls, regarding the polls opening at 6AM. Please be advised that the polls open at 7AM and close at 8 PM with the last person in line," Watkins wrote.
The general election day in Annapolis is Tuesday.
