An Eastport brewery released a new beer to celebrate Pride Month. The sour ale will fundraise for Annapolis Pride, an LGBTQ+ nonprofit.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — An Annapolis brewery released a new beer to celebrate Pride Month and fundraise for an LGBTQ+ inclusion nonprofit.
The beer, called Morphx, comes from Forward Brewing in Eastport. The brewers will donate 15% of the beer's sales over the next two weeks to the Annapolis Pride organization.
Forward Brewing called the beer a "peach sour ale conditioned on butterfly pea flowers - tart, sweet, and purple!"

"The goal is inclusion," Co-Owner Cam Bowdren told The Baltimore Banner. "Beer is a great vehicle for inclusion just because it allows for discussion."
The brewery will host a release party with Annapolis Pride from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday. There will also be pint glasses and T-shirts for sale. Forward Brewing is located at 418 Fourth St.
