1 Killed, Child Hurt In Annapolis Shooting: Reports
An Annapolis shooting killed an adult and wounded a juvenile, reports said. Government offices and a parking garage were temporarily closed.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — A juvenile and an adult were shot Wednesday morning in Annapolis, police told Patch.
The Baltimore Banner reported that the adult died from their injuries. Patch asked officers to confirm The Banner's report, but authorities said at 10:24 a.m. that they couldn't yet say whether the adult was killed.

The nearby Whitmore Parking Garage and the Arundel Center, the Anne Arundel County Government headquarters, were closed temporarily during the investigation. They have since reopened.
The shooting happened around 7:40 a.m. in the 100 block of Clay Street, Annapolis Police Department spokesperson Miguel Dennis said.

Dennis said the injured juvenile was taken to a hospital in stable condition.
Dennis said the adult was also hurt, but he couldn't yet confirm the extent of their injuries to Patch.
The genders of the victims have not yet been released.
Officers were still on the scene investigating as of 9:30 a.m.
"It's a fluid investigation. We don't have a whole lot," Dennis told Patch. "They're still talking to witnesses and that kind of thing right now."
