Mama Mia: 10-foot Pasta Ribbon Cut for Maggiano's Grand Opening
Maggiano's opened Monday at the Annapolis Mall.

A braided, 10-foot rope of pasta good enough to eat served as the ribbon cut for the opening of the new Annapolis restaurant Maggiano's Little Italy.
Anne Arundel County Executive Laura Neuman and business owners of Maggiano's formally cut the pasta ribbon for the new restaurant Monday and then dined on a feast of fresh dishes.
The ribbon cutting was followed by a contest to win free pasta for a year.
Popular for its family style Italian-American cuisine and made-from-scratch dishes, Maggiano's is well known in Washington D.C., but this is the brand's first foray into Annapolis.
The new eatery brings 165 new jobs to the city, according to a press release.
Maggiano's is located at the Westfield Annapolis Mall.
