Man Drowns at Truxtun Park: Reports
Victim located Friday afternoon after going under about 30 feet from the shoreline, according to media reports.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — A man died Friday afternoon in an apparent drowning at Truxton Park, according to media reports.
First responders were called to the scene at 2:22 p.m. after a witness reported he was swimming in Spa Creek with a friend who went under the water and didn't come back up, according to Eye on Annapolis.
The victim was swimming about 30 feet from the shore and his body was located after an extensive search, according to The Capital Gazette.

The medical examiner was en route to the scene Friday to recover the body and make a determination on the cause of death.
