Man Fatally Hit At Loading Dock In Anne Arundel County: Police
A man was fatally struck at a loading dock, Anne Arundel County police said. A truck was reversing, and it pushed a car into the victim.

LINTHICUM HEIGHTS, MD — A man was fatally struck at a Linthicum Heights loading dock on Tuesday, police said.
Officers identified the victim as 60-year-old Charles Edward Thomas III of Taneytown.
Authorities said the accident happened around noon in the 900 block of Corporate Boulevard.

Police said a 2019 International truck with an attached 2011 Wabash National trailer was backing into the loading dock area when it hit a parked 2017 Nissan Rogue.
Thomas had been driving the Nissan, but officers said he was standing behind the Rogue at the time of the collision.

Authorities said the truck and trailer pushed the Nissan over the victim.
Police said Thomas was pronounced dead at the scene.
The truck driver was not hurt, officers said.
Authorities are still investigating.
