Man Slashed During Home Invasion Robbery
Intruder pulls knife on Annapolis man in his home and demands money.

Police are searching for a suspect in a home invasion robbery in Annapolis.
An unknown man entered an apartment in the unit block of Bens Drive on Friday at 7:45 p.m. through the rear door, which was unlocked, police said. Once inside, the suspect threatened a resident with a knife and demanded money.
After a struggle in which the resident grabbed the knife and had his fingers slashed, the suspect took the victim's wallet and ran out of the apartment. In the wallet were checks, $100 in cash, identification cards and a check card, according to the report.

The victim was treated at Anne Arundel Medical Center and released. Police searched the area with K-9 units but were unable to locate the suspect.
