Mayor Cohen Talks Future of Key Downtown Property in Latest Video

Annapolis Mayor Josh Cohen reviewed the ongoing plans to revitalize the City Dock area of downtown in his latest video addressing city affairs.

Cohen talked about the area's new master plan, and development proposals for 110 Compromise Street, the former location of Fawcett's Boating Supply.

"There's a tremendously exciting opportunity, and there are some things that have to happen to accomplish this," Cohen said in the video.

Specifically, Cohen intends to create a new, waterfront City Dock zoning district that will cater to the 110 Compromise Street property, which city leaders hope to combine with two adjacent parcels to could create an ideal retail space for investors.

Combining the parcels will create a "30 to 40 foot promenade" along the waterfront, Cohen said.
