Memorial Day Parade Scheduled for Downtown
City services will also be affected during the holiday.

The Historic Annapolis Memorial Day Parade returns to downtown on Monday.
The line-up starts at 8:30 a.m. on Amos Garrett Boulevard, according to a city newsletter. The procession kicks off at 10 a.m. and will traverse through West Street, Church Circle, Main Street and finish off at City Dock.
Veterans organizations, community groups and marching bands will be featured.

Immediately after the parade, there will be a wreath laying ceremony hosted by the Fleet Reserve, the newsletter states.
The festivities continue at noon with a Veterans Ceremony at according to the city website.

Some city services will also be affected by the Memorial Day holiday.
No trash, yard waste or recycling will be collected on May 28, but a makeup day is scheduled for May 30.
Government offices will be closed in observance.
