Military Bowl Extends ACC Deal
The college football bowl in Annapolis will include one ACC team every year through 2019.

The Military Bowl announced Wednesday it will continue its partnership with the Atlantic Coast Conference.
The ACC, a founding partner in the game, will supply a team for the game every year through 2019.
“We are thrilled to continue our partnership with the ACC, which has been with us since the beginning,” Steve Beck, the bowl's president and executive director, said in a release. “When you look at the teams the ACC is adding, the strength and depth of the league is obvious. It is a no-brainer for the Military Bowl to continue its association with the ACC.”

Maryland, the only school in the state that is currently in the conference, is leaving July 1, 2014 for the Big East.
In May, officials announced the game, formerly played at RFK Stadium in Washington, would be moved to Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis. This year's bowl is set for Dec. 27 and will feature an ACC team against a Conference USA team. It will air nationally on ESPN.
