Oyster Shell Recycling Drop-Off Sites in Annapolis
Don't throw your oyster shells away when they can be recycled.

Did you have oysters for lunch or dinner? If you threw your shells away, dig through the trash to find them so they can be recycled!
A recycled oyster shell can return 10 new oysters back into the Chesapeake Bay, according to a tip from the Maryland Department of Natural Resources.
Here are local places listed on the Oyster Recovery Partnership website that accept oyster shells to be recycled.
