Home Decor Store Closing In Anne Arundel County Hints At Next Venture
A home decor store is closing in Anne Arundel County. The owners, who bought the shop in 2022, hinted that they have a new venture coming.

SEVERNA PARK, MD — A home decor and gift shop is shuttering in Severna Park.
Park Home announced Monday that it will close sometime in February. The store said its lease is ending.
"We are incredibly grateful for the support from our loyal customers who welcomed us into the Severna Park community," owners Brittany and Ted Meade said on Facebook. "Reflecting on the past few years, we appreciate everyone who has supported us, both near and far, and for the connections we have formed along the way."

Park Home opened in 2017. The Meades bought the business in February 2022.
Brittany Meade has an interior design degree, the Park Home website said. She also owned and operated a DIY Workshop studio. Ted Meade has a business management degree and a mixed background.

"Our lives have changed significantly since we took over the store three years ago," the Meades wrote. "We now have a six-month-old baby and other job commitments that require our attention."
The store is located at 568E Ritchie Highway in the Park Plaza shopping center.
The exact closure date hasn't been announced, but the Meades hinted at another venture coming soon.
"Please stay tuned for further details about our store closing," the Meades said. "We also have something NEW in the works that we can’t wait to share with you very soon!"
