Police: Drunk Driver Strikes Cop Car, Continues Driving
A 22-year-old driver was charged with driving under the influence, negligent driving, reckless driving, failure to stop after an accident, and exceeding the speed limit.

Police charged a woman with drunk driving in an incident Thursday morning in which a driver struck a police cruiser with a vehicle and drove away.
Regan Marie Dunn, 22, of Severn, was charged with driving under the influence, negligent driving, reckless driving, failure to stop after an accident, and exceeding the speed limit.
John Green, spokesman for the Maryland Transportation Authority Police, said Thursday at about 2 a.m., Dunn's vehicle sideswiped a police cruiser, causing damage to the vehicle. The car then drove away, leading police on a chase after which she was arrested near Dorsey Road in Severn.
Neither Dunn nor the officer involved in the wreck suffered injuries, Green said.
Dunn was arrested but released on her own recognizance shortly afterward by an Anne Arundel County court commissioner in Glen Burnie, according to Shane Schapiro, president of the FOP Lodge 34.
Schapiro said he was shocked Dunn was released without bail. He said her blood-alcohol content level following her arrest was 0.15, almost twice the legal limit in Maryland. The president filed a formal complaint with the head Anne Arundel Court Commissioner as a result of the incident.
