Police: Dunkin' Donuts Burglarized Overnight

Police said money was taken from registers after a thief broke a glass door to gain entry into the store.

The West Street Dunkin' Donuts was robbed early Tuesday morning after a thief smashed a window, police said.

Annapolis police arrived at the business, located at 2004 West St., at 2 a.m. Tuesday morning for a report of a burglary. A delivery man noticed a hole in the glass door. 

After searching the building using a K-9 unit, police determined the thief had fled after taking a total of $240 in cash from two registers in the store.
