Police: Group Possibly Coordinated Shop Theft
Police said a group may have been working together in a theft of $3,400 worth of retail.

Annapolis police are seeking information on an incident Wednesday that may have involved a group coordinating the theft of more than $3,400 worth of retail.
Between 5 and 6 p.m., an employee at a shop on Maryland Avenue attended to a potential customer, while at least one suspect stole sterling silver flatware and a carved wooden figure. The potential customer may have been working with a group of people suspected of taking the items, according to police.
In a statement released by the Annapolis Business Association, the suspect group is described as two black males and one black female, all in their 40s, dressed "quasi-professionally."
Another man, the potential customer, may have been distracting the employee, leading him into a back room. A description of the man was not provided.
The theft was not reported until Thursday, according to the statement.
