Police Locate 8 Bullet Casings On S Cherry Grove Friday Night

ANNAPOLIS, MD — Officers located eight 9mm bullet casings on the 200 block of South Cherry Grove Avenue after responding to a report of gunshots Friday night.

Police were dispatched to the street at approximately 9:58 p.m., the Annapolis Police Department said in its daily report on Monday. Upon arrival, they met with the complainant, who said that he heard around five or six shots fired.

Officers found the casings when they canvassed the area, police said, and were unable to locate any property that had been struck by gunfire.

The casings were collected and submitted to evidence, police said.
