Police: Man Robbed at Knifepoint on Belle Drive
The Monday night robbery was one of several incidents in the Annapolis police daily briefing.

Annapolis police say a man was attacked and robbed at knifepoint Monday evening.
The robbery happened at 8:30 p.m. in the 1700 block of Belle Drive. Police say a man walking nearby was attacked by a man who pulled him behind houses. The robber threatened him with a knife and demanded money. The two struggled, and the robber used his knife to cut open the pocket on the man's shorts to remove his keys and wallet before he ran away, according to police.
In a separate incident from 5 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, someone took money from an unlocked vehicle in the 700 block of Newtowne Drive.

In the unit block of Boxwood Road, somebody smashed a vehicle's driver's side window and took money and a Garmin GPS unit sometime between 8 p.m. Sunday and 6:30 a.m. Monday.
Between 11 p.m. Saturday and 6:30 a.m. Monday someone stole a safe from a business in the unit block of Dock Street. The lock on the rear garage door was found cut, according to police.
