Police Seek Information in Annapolis Purse Snatching
The incident occurred in a shopping center parking lot Saturday afternoon.

Anne Arundel County Police are searching for information in connection with a robbery of an Annapolis senior citizen in a shopping center parking lot in the 2300 block of Forest Drive on Saturday afternoon.
According to a police release, the victim was an 86-year-old woman who said a man grabbed her purse from her arm as she was getting out of her car. The man then reportedly ran to a vehicle parked across the parking lot and drove away.
Police said a witness obtained the suspect’s vehicle and license plate information, but the license plate had been reported stolen. Officers reportedly checked the surrounding area for the suspect vehicle, but did not locate it.

The victim was not injured during the incident, according to police.
Police described the suspect as a black man in his late teens to early 20s, approximately 200 pounds, wearing a black T-shirt and denim shorts. The suspect's vehicle is a brown, older model Jeep Laredo that only has a rear license plate.
