Police To Increase Patrols for Cinco de Mayo
Annapolis police officers will specifically look for impaired drivers.

Cinco de Mayo is around the corner and are making sure celebrators are staying safe.
On Friday and Saturday, the police department will have extra officers conducting DUI saturation patrols, according to a news release. The patrols, which are meant to identify impaired drivers, are an effort to reduce the number of deaths or injuries caused by alcohol-related crashes.
The department also encourages the public to call 911 if they observe a suspected impaired driver.
