Men Captured After Running from Police During Traffic Stops
Police said the two incidents were separate and unrelated.

Two men who fled from police in separate firearm-related incidents were arrested this week, Annapolis police said.
Annapolis Police Department spokeswoman Cpl. Amy Miguez said Derwyn Spriggs, 26 of Annapolis and Robert Bell III, 23, of Brooklyn Park, both ran from police during unrelated traffic stops.
Spriggs' vehicle was pulled over by police on Sept. 9, but fled and escaped custody. Police searched the vehicle and found marijuana and a 9mm handgun inside, according to a report. Spriggs was arrested on warrants stemming from that incident on Tuesday after police spotted him in downtown Annapolis, Miguez said.
He is being held on $100,000 bond at the Jennifer Road Detention Center on several firearm and drug violations.
Bell was pulled over after a report of a suspicious vehicle in the Newtown Road area on Oct. 12. Bell and one other man ran from the vehicle and escaped custody. In the vehicle, police found two handguns. Bell was arrested in Baltimore on Wednesday, police said.
Bell is being held without bond at the Baltimore City Detention Center on several weapons charges.
