A robbery victim was shot twice in Annapolis, police said. Medics flew him to shock trauma, and detectives are still searching for answers.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — A robbery victim was shot twice recently in Annapolis, city police said.
A press release said medics flew the injured man to shock trauma. Officers did not have an update on his condition as of Thursday evening.
The victim was shot Wednesday during an armed robbery near Atwater Drive and Belle Drive, authorities said.

Police said they responded to the townhome community around 8:24 p.m. and found the victim, who was shot while outside of his vehicle.
The gunfire also hit two homes, officers said.

Authorities said the suspect fled the scene.
Detectives did not mention any potential leads.
The Annapolis Police Department asked anybody with information to call 410-260-3439. Tipsters can also anonymously contact officers at 410-280-CLUE (410-280-2583).
The Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland offered a cash reward of up to $2,000 for information that leads to an arrest or an indictment on felony charges. The Metro Crime Stoppers is a non-police organization that collects tips and shares them with detectives.
