Royal Farms Interested in Stevens Hardware Store
A Royal Farms unlike ones you may be familiar with may move into the old Stevens Hardware building on Dock Street.

A Royal Farms may occupy the former Stevens Hardware building at the corner of Dock and Randall streets.
Representatives from Royal Farms visited the Annapolis Business Association on Thursday to detail their plans for the former hardware store, according to The Capital-Gazette.
The store would not be like most Royal Farms—instead it would be a deli-style restaurant with food prepared to order, according to The Capital.

Rumors have been circulating of Royal Farms' interest in the hardware store, but Thursday night's meeting was the first time company representatives made their intent public.
Stevens Hardware closed in December 2012. It had operated as a hardware store since the 1870s.
