Teen Shot In Annapolis Expected To Survive, Detective Seeks Tips: Police

A 16-year-old shot in Annapolis' Robinwood neighborhood is in stable condition, police said. Officers asked for tips.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — A teenager shot this weekend in Annapolis is in stable condition, police announced Monday.

Officers said the shooting happened Saturday around 9:14 p.m. in the 1300 block of Tyler Avenue. That's located in the Robinwood neighborhood.

Authorities said they found a 16-year-old boy with a gunshot wound to the lower part of his leg.

Medics took him to the University of Maryland R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, police said.

He's expected to survive.

Officers are still investigating.
