Thief Finds Only $4 in Eastport Restaurant

After prying open a door to a business in Eastport, a thief found just $4 in change.

A restaurant in Eastport had its door pried open by a thief, who found only $4 in change inside, Annapolis police said.

According to a police report, a restaurant in the 900 block of Bay Ridge Avenue was burglarized overnight Wednesday. The side door of the business was pried open, and a change drawer was taken, containing a total of $4. The business owner told police that the alarm system went off at about 3 a.m.

In a separate incident, on Sunday night in the unit block of Skippers Court, three gold rings and a pair of sunglasses were taken from an apparently unlocked vehicle, according to a police report.
