
Firefighters from the Anne Arundel County extinguished an underground electrical fire at on Saturday, according to fire department spokesman Capt. James Rostek.
Responders were called to the park around 5:30 p.m. and were able to locate the underground fire.
BGE crews were called to de-energize the electrical lines and firefighters extinguished the fire with dry chemical extinguishers to keep the fire from spreading to any of the buildings.

Rostek said that park buildings were not affected and there were no injuries.
