Free World Tai Chi and Qigong Day Event

WORLD TAI CHI DAY

Saturday, April 30 (10:00am - 11:00 am) - Join us at Severna Park Community Center (623 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd, Severna Park, MD) on Saturday, April 30 as Jing Ying celebrates World Tai Chi & Qigong Day. We will be located in the area outside the “Holy Grounds” building. If it rains, we will be inside the Community Center’s gym. Parking is free at the Center and also at Woods Memorial Church.

World Tai Chi & Qigong Day will be celebrated in every time zone in the world! Starting at 10:00 am in the first time zone and moving in a wave around the earth as 10:00 am reaches each new time zone, groups will gather together to practice Tai Chi and Qigong. Come out and be part of this international event!

Our event will start with demonstrations and then some mini-workshops. This is a free event and open to the public. Just show up. Go to www.JingYing.org for more information about tai chi.

FREE “TEA & TAI CHI CLASS

Wednesday, May 4 (10:30-11:30am) - Get a free introduction to Tai Chi and Qigong, learn some basic movements, ask questions, and enjoy a cup of premium tea from East West Tea Emporium. Location of class: Severna Park Community Center, 623 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd, Severna Park, MD. An 8-week session begins May 11.

C.P. ONG WORKSHOP & BOOKSIGNING
“Cultivating Inner Strength”

Monday, May 9 (7:30-9:00pm) - Join us as C.P. Ong, author of TaiJiQuan: Cultivating Inner Strength, shows us how we can develop our own inner strength. He will lead us through the moving practice of ChanSi Gong (silk reeling exercises) and through stationary meditation and breathing practice. Workshop price includes a copy of Master Ong’s excellent book. Location of workshop: Jing Ying Institute of Kung Fu & Tai Chi, 1195 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd #6, Arnold, MD (between Severna Park and Annapolis).
