Chick-fil-A Opening New Restaurant With Freebies In Anne Arundel County
A new Chick-fil-A is opening in Anne Arundel County. Customers dressed as cows will get free food.

PASADENA, MD — An Annapolis native is opening a new Chick-fil-A restaurant Thursday in Pasadena. Customers dressed as cows, whether with simple spots or full costumes, will get a free entrée from the dining room or the drive-thru on opening day.
Located in the neighborhood of Jacobsville, this will be Owner-Operator Chris Schenck's third Chick-fil-A in Anne Arundel County. His other locations are in Severna Park and at the Arnold campus of Anne Arundel Community College.
Schenck was selected in 2013 to open the Severna Park store. His AACC location followed in 2021.

“This community means so much to me, and the opportunity to deepen my commitment here is truly special,” Schenck said in a press release. “Opening this restaurant unlocks incredible possibilities – creating growth opportunities for my Team Members, expanding our ability to serve local organizations and making a meaningful difference in people’s lives from the moment they walk through our doors.”
The chicken restaurant will span 4,900 square feet and seat 64 customers. Located at 4015 Mountain Road, it will have about 120 employees. The store will be open Mondays through Saturdays from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., offering dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, delivery and catering.

To celebrate, Chick-fil-A will donate $25,000 to Feeding America. The money will be distributed to partners in the Baltimore area to fight hunger.
This location will also participate in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofits, helping to create over 35 million meals nationwide to date.
Schenck's other restaurants donate about 100 pounds of food every week.
Through Schenck's eateries, he has helped support the Chick-fil-A Leader Academy and help local health systems and nonprofits raise funds through cookie drives.

Traffic Plan For Opening Weekend
Chick-fil-A Jacobsville worked with the Anne Arundel County Police Department to develop a traffic plan for opening weekend.
Police officers will be on-site from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. to help direct guests entering and exiting the restaurant and will monitor conditions in real-time to adjust as needed.
Customers can enter from Mountain Road or Magothy Beach Road, where signage and team members will direct patrons to enter the drive-thru or the parking lot to dine in.
The exit onto Mountain Road will be monitored and will be closed as necessary to facilitate the flow of vehicles. All cars exiting the parking lot will be funneled to Annie Kess Boulevard.
Guests can access Mountain Road toward Lake Shore by turning right onto Annie Kess and then right on Artic Drive.
Customers turning left on Annie Kess will be directed to turn right on Magothy Beach Road. This route provides access to Maryland Route 100 and Lakeshore Plaza.
