Anne Arundel County Schools Make Snow Decision For Jan. 8
With snow still covering some local roads, Anne Arundel County Public Schools announced its plans for Wednesday classes.

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — All Anne Arundel County Public Schools will be closed Wednesday, as snow and ice still linger on some local roads. Schools were also closed Monday and Tuesday.
There will be no instruction Wednesday. It will not be a virtual learning day.
AACPS announced the news at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.

"A Code Blue with liberal leave is in effect for employees. With the exception of Unit III personnel, 12-month employees who are unable to get to their work location because of hardships are encouraged to utilize annual leave and should notify their supervisor of their intent to do so or discuss other arrangements. Unit III personnel must report as required and will receive additional instructions to that effect," AACPS said on Facebook.
