Fatal Crash In Edgewater Claims 46-Year-Old Driver: Police
A driver died in an Edgewater crash, police said. He was 46 years old.

EDGEWATER, MD — A driver died Tuesday morning in a single-vehicle Edgewater crash, police said.
Officers identified the victim as 46-year-old Richard Brenton Schulze of Edgewater.
Authorities said the wreck happened around 6 a.m. near Central Avenue, also known as Maryland Route 214, and Stepneys Lane.

Police said Schulze was driving a blue 2021 Hyundai Kona SUV that left the roadway, hit a tree and came to a rest in the ditch.
The Anne Arundel County Fire Department pronounced Schulze dead on the scene, officers said. Schulze was the only person in the car.
