Gibson Island Fire Causes $75,000 in Damage
One woman was treated for minor smoke inhalation resulting from the blaze on Sunday night.

A fire on Gibson Island caused about $75,000 in damage and sent one woman to the hospital Sunday night, a fire department spokesman said.
Lt. Cliff Kooser of the Anne Arundel County Fire Department said firefighters responded at about 7 p.m. Sunday to a house fire at the 500 block of Broadwater Way. It took about 30 firefighters 25 minutes to get the blaze under control.Â
One woman was treated at the scene for minor smoke inhalation and transported to Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie.Â

The fire caused $75,000 in damage and investigators said the cause was accidental, Kooser said.Â
