Firefighters Respond to Large Fire Near Curtis Bay

Firefighters were on the scene Wednesday of a large fire in an industrial area near the border of Anne Arundel County and Baltimore. 

Division Chief Keith Swindle, a spokesman for the Anne Arundel County Fire Department, said there were 33 firefighters on the scene. They were battling the blaze near the Joseph B. Fay Company on Pittman Road in the Curtis Bay area. 

Swindle said the fire involved wood pallets, mulch and brush, and was not under control as of noon Wednesday.
