Husband, Wife From Annapolis Dead After West River Crash: Police
A man and his wife are dead after a crash in southern Anne Arundel County, police said. They were both 90 years old.

WEST RIVER, MD — A man and a woman are dead after a Sunday crash in southern Anne Arundel County, police said.
Officers identified the victims as Annapolis residents Donald Allen and Anne Allen, both 90 years old.
Authorities told Patch the victims were husband and wife.

Police said the wreck happened around 10:30 a.m. in West River at Muddy Creek and Sudley roads.
Witnesses told officers a 2007 Buick Lacrosse sedan was heading south on Muddy Creek Road behind two other vehicles when it left the roadway, hit a tree on the right side of the street and came to a stop.

Authorities said Donald Allen, the driver, was pronounced dead on the scene.
Police said Anne Allen, the passenger, was flown to the University of Maryland R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, where she was pronounced dead soon after.
Officers are still investigating.
