Male Shot In Annapolis Neighborhood: Police

A shooting in an Annapolis neighborhood hospitalized a male, police said. Officers haven't made any arrests.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — A male was shot this weekend in an Annapolis neighborhood, police said.

Officers on foot patrol in the Newtowne Drive area said they heard gunshots coming from the Juliana Circle area around 8 p.m. Friday.

Authorities said they found the victim near Juliana Circle West. That's located in the Rider's Glen subdivision.

The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment, the Annapolis Police Department said.

Detectives are still investigating, and they haven't identified a suspect.
