Snow Decision Made By Anne Arundel County Public Schools For Feb. 11
A snow decision was made by Anne Arundel County Public Schools for Tuesday classes. Maryland could see 2 to 8 inches of snow.
ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — Anne Arundel County Public Schools will have virtual classes on Tuesday due to a snowstorm that could coat Maryland with 2 to 8 inches, depending on the area.
AACPS announced the decision Monday at 5:45 p.m., saying "the forecast for significant snowfall ... could inhibit the safe transport of students home from schools in the afternoon."

Evening high school classes are canceled. There will not be any in-person after-school activities.
AACPS central and satellite offices will be open on Tuesday. Employees who can't travel to or from work should notify their supervisor to discuss other arrangements. Unit III personnel will receive additional reporting instructions.
