Woman Fatally Stabbed, Marking 2nd Homicide Of Week: Anne Arundel Police
A woman was fatally stabbed after an argument, Anne Arundel police said. It was the week's 2nd homicide. It happened blocks from the 1st.

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — A woman was fatally stabbed Monday evening in northern Anne Arundel County, officers said.
Authorities have not yet positively identified the victim.
Police said this was Anne Arundel County's second homicide of the week, and it happened three blocks away from where the first victim was found on Saturday. Officers gave no indication that the two attacks were connected.

Authorities said they were called around 9:20 p.m. Monday to Ritchie Highway and 4th Avenue in Brooklyn for an initial report of an injured or sick person.

Police said they then found the victim on the sidewalk with at least one stab wound.
Officers said medics treated her on the scene and took her to the University of Maryland R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center, where she later died.
Witnesses told authorities the woman was arguing with a male suspect before the stabbing, a press release said.
Police said the male suspect was gone before they arrived. Officers think the victim and the suspect knew each other in this targeted homicide.
Authorities are still investigating.
