$1M Mega Millions Winning Ticket Sold In Bel Air Dec. 10 Remains Unclaimed

The $1M Mega Millions winning lotto ticket sold in Bel Air Dec. 10 has yet to be claimed. The winner has 182 days from the drawing date.

BEL AIR, MD — As of Monday, the $1 million winning Mega Millions ticket sold in Bel Air has not yet been claimed.

The winner has 182 days from the Dec. 10 drawing date to redeem the ticket. The last Mega Millions jackpot ($810 million) was hit Sept. 10 in Texas. During the current jackpot roll, there has been one other second-tier $1 million winner in Maryland (Anne Arundel County) and six third-tier winners have claimed prizes of $40,000 (Prince George’s County), $20,000 (Baltimore County) and $10,000 (Harford, Montgomery, Prince George’s and Wicomico counties).

The next Mega Millions drawing is Dec. 17 and the estimated jackpot is $740 million with a cash option of $342.9 million. If the jackpot is hit at $740 million, it would be the eighth-largest in Mega Millions history.

Winners are encouraged to sign the backs of tickets and keep winning tickets in a safe location. Tickets for draw games expire 182 days after the drawing. FAST PLAY tickets expire 182 days after purchase. The last date to claim for scratch-offs is posted on the scratch-offs page.

Winners of prizes larger than $25,000 must redeem tickets at the Maryland Lottery Customer Resource Center in Baltimore, which is open by appointment only. Prizes up to $25,000 can be claimed at the cashier window of any of the six casinos in Maryland. Prizes up to $5,000 can be claimed at any of more than 400 Expanded Cashing Authority Program (XCAP) locations. All Maryland Lottery retailers are authorized to redeem tickets worth up to and including $600.
