2 18-Year-Olds Enter Plea In Deadly Road Rage Incident: Harford County Prosecutor
Two 18-year-olds have entered a plea in a deadly road rage incident that happened when they were 17, prosecutors have announced.
HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — Two 18-year-old Havre de Grace men have pleaded guilty to their involvement in a deadly road rage incident.
On Aug. 21, 2023, a then 17-year-old Tyler Michael Woodie, now 18, and a 17-year-old victim were both drivers who were involved in a road rage incident. Woodie and his friend, then 17-year-old Alexander James Penrow, now 18, killed the victim. Penrow supplied the knife and Woodie stabbed the teenager to death, the prosecution said.
Woodie has pleaded guilty to first-degree murder and Penrow has pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit second-degree murder. Woodie has been sentenced to life suspend all but 45 years to serve and Penrow was sentenced to 30 years suspend all but 20 years to serve, prosecutors said.
