$50K Winning Lotto Ticket Claimed By Abingdon Factory Worker

An Abingdon factory worker has claimed a $50K winning lottery ticket. He plans to use the winnings to pay bills.

ABINGDON, MD — A Harford County man has won $50,000 thanks to random numbers he played after seeing them on a sheet of paper he received from someone at his work that he saw later on on a license plate. So he bought a Pick 5 ticket and played those very numbers.

“Something told me to try those numbers,” the factory worker told the Maryland Lottery.

When he checked the results at the evening drawing, he was amazed when he saw his numbers were drawn.
