$50K Winning Lotto Ticket Claimed By Aberdeen U.S. Air Force Veteran Who Hopes To Travel

A U.S. Air Force veteran from Aberdeen hopes to travel with the winnings from his recently bought scratch-off ticket.

ABERDEEN, MD — An 81-year-old Harford County resident who won $50,000 on a scratch-off ticket can't wait to start traveling, thanks to his winnings.

Lloyd Harless, a U.S. Air Force veteran, bought the winning $5 instant ticket at Aberdeen Shell, located at 1026 Middleton Road in Harford County, which will received a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

“My bucket list has gotten so big that I had to dump it out and start all over again,” he told Maryland Lottery officials.

Lloyd is the second $50,000 winner; six top prizes remain. There are still eight $10,000 prizes awaiting discovery along with others ranging from $5 to $5,000, according to the Maryland Lottery.
