$50K Winning Lotto Tickets Claimed By Brother-Sister Duo

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — A brother and sister duo from Harford County racked up more than $50,000 in winnings playing two Monopoly X20 instant tickets.

The sister likes to remind her brother than she won $50,000 and he won $25, according to the Maryland Lottery.

They were out running errands together and popped into the Clinton Crossings Exxon in Prince George’s County. She purchased five tickets and shared two with her brother. They played the games at their respective homes and when she realized she'd won $50,000, she called him instantly.

“She called me and said, ‘Sit down,’” the brother recalled. “I said, ‘What is it?’ And she said, ‘I got the big one.’”

For selling the $50,000 top-prize winning scratch-off, Clinton Crossings Exxon at 8915 Woodyard Road in Clinton will receive a $500 lottery bonus.
